Privacy Policy

Last Updated: July 20, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how C2IT Labs (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use SAG Rescue (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

Questions about this policy? Contact us at our contact page.

Information We Collect

Depending on how you use SAG Rescue, we may collect:

• Account and organizer information such as name, email address, and login credentials

• Event and operational data such as event names, help requests, status updates, and location information provided for rescue coordination

• Contact details you choose to provide for notifications, including mobile phone numbers when you opt in to text messages

• Technical data such as device type, browser information, and log data used to operate and secure the Service

How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to provide and improve SAG Rescue, including coordinating rescue requests, assigning SAG units, sending status updates, supporting organizers and drivers, maintaining security, and communicating about the Service.

We do not sell your personal information.

Text Messaging (SMS)

If you provide a mobile number and opt in to SMS notifications, SAG Rescue may send you transactional text messages related to race-day support—for example, rescue request status updates for riders, new-assignment alerts for SAG drivers, and new-request alerts for organizers who enroll notification numbers for an event.

Mobile number non-sharing

We will not share, sell, rent, or otherwise disclose your mobile phone number to third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile numbers collected for SMS are used only to deliver the Service’s transactional notifications and related opt-out handling, and to operate the messaging features you requested.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies. Riders who opt in typically receive a small number of status texts per help request (for example, when a unit is assigned, en route, arrived, or the request is complete). Drivers and organizers may receive messages when new assignments or requests occur during an event. You will not receive a fixed daily message count; volume depends on event activity and the notifications you enable.

Message and data rates

Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier’s standard messaging and data charges apply to any texts you send or receive through this Service.

Opting out

You can cancel SMS notifications at any time by replying STOP to any message from us. After you send STOP, you will receive a confirmation and we will stop sending further texts to that number for SAG Rescue notifications. You may also adjust SMS preferences in the Service where available (for example, when submitting a help request or managing SAG unit settings). For help, reply HELP or contact us through our contact page.

Sharing of Other Information

We may share information with service providers who help us operate the Service (such as hosting, authentication, and SMS delivery providers), when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transfer. Service providers are engaged to process information on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own marketing.

Event organizers and authorized staff working an event may see operational details needed to provide rescue support (for example, rider contact and location information associated with a help request).

Data Retention and Security

We retain information as long as needed to provide the Service, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Children’s Privacy

SAG Rescue is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can delete it.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
